Pregnancy Loss/Grief

I have been a pregnancy options counselor for over 10 years for many agencies. In that role, I have found that people need a space to grieve the loss of their pregnancy rather if the pregnancy was planned or unplanned. I have volunteered as a grief peer counselor for a local organization for three years. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that I can hold space for the grief process during such loss. Grief work can also be done regarding grieving the loss of the idea of what you thought the future was going to be.

Pregnancy loss can be defined as miscarriage, fetal demise, fetal abnormalities or fetal termination.
